Intercultural Communication Basics
This workshop welcomes professionals working in a multicultural environment (future expats, teachers, educators, medical care providers, social workers, educational officers).

It combines theory (communication, philosophy, sociology) and practice (exercises and role plays). This workshop is customizable through prior assessment of needs and production of specifications.

Deliverables

Acquisition of basic behavioral skills required for successful communication with individuals from other cultures (listening power, de-centration of the Self, self-knowledge, and understanding of cultural difference).

Moving to the Middle East
This workshop welcomes managers, professionals, and humanitarian workers.
Overview

This workshop is an introduction to the Arabic-speaking Middle East and features its geographical, linguistic, and social fundamentals.

Deliverables

Landmarks and keys of understanding for a facilitated integration in the Arabic-speaking countries of the Middle East.

Solving a Dilemma in an intercultural context
This workshop welcomes managers and Education or Socio-Medical care providers.
Overview

VaKE (Value and Knowledge Education) is a didactic approach based on the resolution of (simulated) dilemmas in order to produce sound and reason-based arguments in work and community-related issues. The raised issues allow debates around visions of democracy, citizenship, secularism, and justice through individual and collective behaviors in concrete situations at school, work and society at large. This workshop implies a thorough assessment of needs and preparation of a specific situation dilemma.

Deliverables

Acquisition of ethic-based reasoning and dialectic skills for professionals facing complex dialogue with culturally diverse individuals.

Ordinary Values and Behaviors within the French society
This workshop welcomes NGO workers involved in the integration of immigrants and refugees.
Overview

This workshop displays a tool (Immage Project) to be implemented with immigrants. Based on group discussion, sets of images are used to highlight standard values and behaviors in France in contrast/complementarity with the cultural fundamentals of the immigrants or refugees. Each image highlights at least one of the following themes: work, family, gender, everyday life, education, sexuality, citizenship, religion.

Deliverables

Acquisition of facilitation skills for the integration of immigrants in France or Europe.
